Lake Lisa Park Improvements

« Return to Project Search

Pasco County Facilities Management retained our team to provide geotechnical, ecological, and civil engineering services as well as the permit preparation and application for the Lake Lisa Park Improvements. We prepared the conceptual design to determine placement of amenities and to route the walking trails throughout the site.

Lake Lisa Park amenities include a 20-by-46-foot picnic shelter, 10 tables, five grills, a 50-by-100-foot multi-purpose court, a 6-foot-wide, 3,900-linear-foot bike trail, a playground with three structures, signs, a water fountain, a hose bib, and 28 parking spaces. The asphalt bike trail has a consistent skate-able surface for in-line skates. The playground was pre-fabricated and installed on-site with mulch on the ground, sufficiently protected to prevent runoff. The sidewalk from the parking area to picnic shelter area is Americans with Disabilities Act-compliant.

We designed the connection of utilities, including water main, sanitary sewer, and stormwater sewer. Our team provided wetland delineation and coordinated with our surveyors for the boundary, tree, and topographic survey. We prepared the permit drawings, calculations, and permit applications for the Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD) and the Pasco County Site Development Review Board. Construction phase services included construction observation, review of submittals and shop drawings, responses to contractor requests for information, and project closeout assistance.
