Palatka Wastewater Services

« Return to Project Search

Ayres has enjoyed a successful working relationship with the City of Palatka, Florida, including in providing wastewater services. As part of those services, Ayres has collected quarterly groundwater samples from four compliance monitoring wells at the Palatka Golf Club and reported results to the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. The sampling is required by the FDEP wastewater treatment plant operating permit. All samples were collected in accordance with Chapter 62-160, Florida Administrative Code, and DEP-SOP-001/01 guidelines and sent to a National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Conference certified laboratory for analysis. The sampling is follow-up work relating to a larger project Ayres completed to provide engineering services for expanding the City’s reclaimed water reuse pump station to a 2.5-million-gallons-per-day facility and enlarging the transmission/distribution systems. The reclaimed water is used to irrigate the Palatka Golf Club, the City’s municipal golf course.
