St. Croix Valley Business Incubator Building

« Return to Project Search

The St. Croix Valley Business Incubator Building project resulted in the new construction of a 31,259-square-foot pre-engineered steel building. The building includes a two-story office component and approximately 13,000 square feet of light industrial/warehouse space. The project was constructed in the new Sterling Ponds Corporate Park on the north end of River Falls.

This multi-use facility was designed as a hybrid entrepreneurial center housing small or start-up businesses. It offers business incubation, workforce training, and business acceleration services. A local partnership consisting of the City of River Falls, the River Falls Economic Development Corporation, the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, and Chippewa Valley Technical College was awarded a $1.4 million grant to construct the project. The U.S. Economic Development Administration (EDA) grant funded nearly 50% of the project.
