Greenwood Elementary School Addition & Remodel

« Return to Project Search

As part of a successful referendum, Greenwood Elementary School received a 13,000-square-foot addition, and the existing media center, kitchen/server, and special education classrooms were remodeled. The addition includes three classrooms, a music room, an occupational therapy/physical therapy classroom, Kids Club office/storage, physical education storage, restrooms, and a gymnasium. A portion of the existing gymnasium was transformed into a bright and airy multi-purpose room that now functions as a cafeteria, makers’ space, and before/after school care area.

Additional improvements include building-wide mechanical upgrades to improve indoor air quality; installation of LED lighting; roof replacement; playground reconfiguration and additional green space; and site drainage improvements.
