Kewaunee CTH H Bridge Rehabilitation

Racine Bascule Bridge Rehabilitation

The City of Racine retained Ayres to provide construction observation for the rehabilitation of the State Street bascule span bridge over the Root River. The project consisted of replacing several diaphragms, reinforcing the stringer webs, blasting the steel surfaces throughout the bascule span to SSPC-SP6 specifications, and placing two to three coats of moisture-cure urethane.
