Buckhorn State Park Campground and Day Use Area

« Return to Project Search

Along with Berners Shober Architects, our team completed construction documents for Buckhorn State Park family campground and day use area improvements. Spatial analysis and assessments of existing facilities and infrastructure were completed before the master planning and site programming phase. The design integrates naturally aesthetic and sustainable architecture and site development into the oak savannah and Castle Rock Flowage landscape.

Safety and pedestrian-friendly circulation were critical components of the layout and flow of the facility to accommodate the high volume of youth activities at the park.
