Boulder 30th & Pearl Groundwater Study

In partnership with Coburn Architecture, Ayres provided groundwater consulting services for the multi-building development at 30th and Pearl across the street from the Reve Development in Boulder, Colorado. Ayres supervised the installation of two new monitoring wells and conducted in-situ hydraulic conductivity slug testing and water quality sampling to characterize the groundwater at the site.

The team used this information to develop a PLASM groundwater model and provide groundwater management recommendations. Ayres prepared a letter documenting the work performed and providing recommendations for temporary construction dewatering and documentation of long-term dewatering flow rates. The information provided enabled the development team to choose the best groundwater management approach.
