We’ve provided electromagnetic locating on over 3,500 miles of pipe and cabling. All of our electromagnetic induction designations are performed with the RD8000 and RD4000 units by SPX. A transmitter casts a signal onto the metallic utility, and a receiver hones in on the signal and marks the utility’s horizontal location.
