Since joining Ayres in 1995, I have steadily advanced within the company as a design engineer and then as a transportation supervisor, and ultimately as vice president of Midwest transportation operations. I oversee highway, structural, and traffic engineering and construction services in Wisconsin.
I have extensive experience managing and designing transportation related projects for the State of Wisconsin and local governments. My experience includes project coordination with government and local agencies, and I've served as resident engineer for construction observation projects.
My experience with the technical and social elements of challenging projects enables me to effectively coordinate and successfully complete large and small projects on time and within budget. I am proactive in identifying and addressing project challenges to keep projects on schedule, and I'm committed to keeping major stakeholders informed throughout the design process. I have experience facilitating ad hoc, citizens advisory, and property owner meetings. I'm also effective in gathering and incorporating input from many sources to enhance overall design and public involvement efforts.
My areas of expertise include:
- Freeway and expressway design
- State and county trunk highway design
- Watershed analysis
- CEAL programming
- Traffic control design
- Preparation of bid documents
- Construction administration
