My background in healthcare programming, planning, project management, and documentation has benefited nonprofit, for-profit, and government clients seeking to design physical environments that support health and healing.
My career-long focus on healthcare and my collaborative philosophy help me to incorporate the insights and needs of leadership, care staff, and patients into hospitals and clinics. My designs prioritize operational efficiency, and that enhances care. I integrate sustainable design practices and wellness concepts into projects while also navigating the complex web of industry standards and state and local requirements. I am very familiar with guidance relating to the Facility Guidelines Institute and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.
