Stephanie Ramsey, PE, CBI, recently was promoted to the first level of project management at Ayres. Based in Eau Claire, Ramsey is a civil engineer within the Engineering Services-Wisconsin Division.

Ramsey, who joined Ayres in 2017, designs municipal and civil/site projects. Her work for public and private sector clients includes preparing plans, specifications, and bidding documents; preparing permit applications and stormwater management plans; and performing construction observation. Ramsey leads grant application and administration services for many of our projects. She also assists on topside and underwater inspections for highway bridges, dams, overhead signs, and other structures for municipalities, counties, and state departments of transportation.

As she takes steps toward a project management role, she will benefit from Ayres’ project management training and will assist senior project managers in overseeing project tasks. Ramsey will increasingly work directly with clients, collaborating on decisions that shape project designs and outcomes.

Ramsey’s project experience has involved providing extensive design and construction observation service to northwestern Wisconsin municipalities, as well as performing bridge inspections for state and local government units around the nation.

“Stephanie enjoys the diversity of her work, and she is excited to learn about project management,” says Angi Goodwin, PE, a civil engineer and senior project manager who supervises Ramsey. “I look forward to watching her develop her skills and grow into this role.” Ramsey is a registered professional engineer in Wisconsin and holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. She is certified in Wisconsin as an inspection team leader.
