I-39/US 51 Interchange Signals

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation retained Ayres to design the rehabilitation of the bridges that carry I-39 over US 51 north of Madison, and the project included traffic signal design for one of the exit ramps.
Ayres also provided traffic analysis for maintaining flow during construction and developed a complex traffic control plan that maintained three lanes of traffic over the interchange bridges during the bridge work.
