Sheboygan CTH O over Sheboygan River Tributary Bridge

« Return to Project Search

The Sheboygan County Transportation Department hired Ayres to design the replacement of the CTH O bridge over a tributary of the Sheboygan River.

The design is for the replacement of the existing single-span concrete deck girder bridge. The existing bridge was structurally deficient and was built in 1920. The new structure is a single-span concrete flat slab bridge on A1 type abutments, with a clear roadway width of 36 feet and was constructed in 2019. The new structure includes the addition of guardrail in each quadrant.

Ayres’ services included topographic survey, environmental assessment, Wisconsin Department of Transportation reports, public involvement, preliminary and final bridge and roadway design, specifications, and quantities.
