50th Street and Sligh Avenue Intersection Improvements

« Return to Project Search

Hillsborough County hired Ayres to develop alternatives and provide recommendations for the design of turn lane improvements at the intersection of 50th Street and Sligh Avenue.

Ayres provided construction plans for the intersection under a subsequent work order, including roadway plans, a stormwater pollution prevention plan, utility relocation, miscellaneous structures plans, signing and pavement marking plans, signalization plans, and quantities.

This project included bus stop improvements for the Hillsborough Transit Authority (HART). Ayres coordinated with HART staff on facility upgrades for Route 41, which included two new bus stop pads just east of the intersection with connective sidewalks to allow pedestrians to cross all four legs of the intersection.
