Logo blueAyres Associates and the SAA Design Group, a planning and design firm, have entered into a letter of intent for Ayres to acquire SAA.

The Wisconsin-based firms have teamed on several projects – including Phoenix Park in Eau Claire. Both companies SAA H LOGO-BLACK-BLUEpursue the goal of providing clients with creative solutions to improve the everyday environment through innovative design. Smart project managers at Ayres and SAA forge long-term relationships with their clients while helping them get the most out of their resources and nimbly handling technical and regulatory hurdles.

Together our broader and deeper capabilities will better serve clients’ needs for comprehensive, creative, place-sensitive, value-driven, and cost-efficient solutions for the natural and built environments. We will deliver the complete package clients are looking for – planning, funding, survey, engineering design, even construction oversight. And where Ayres has always excelled at the science of designing quality projects, the SAA professionals who will join Ayres know the art of weaving projects skillfully into the fabric of the communities and clients they serve.

The acquisition is scheduled to be completed in early 2015. SAA’s office will remain at its current Madison location and will become Ayres’ 13th U.S. office and its sixth in Wisconsin.
