Winnebago County US 41 Corridor Survey

Ayres is on the US 41 Corridor Team supplying on-call survey support mobilizing on-site for survey tasks that arise during the design and construction of the project, which involves major upgrades of 14 miles of US 41 in Brown County and 17 miles in Winnebago County.

The project includes expanding the roadway from four lanes to six to 10 lanes, reconstructing 13 interchanges, constructing 44 roundabouts, and upgrading the Lake Butte des Morts causeway from four lanes to eight.

Survey tasks that will be performed by Ayres or with the aid of Wisconsin Department of Transportation survey crews include right-of-way staking, volume surveys, slope staking, topographic surveys to check design, as-built surveys, and hydraulic surveys.
