Ayres conducted the site investigation and hydraulic modeling required to design a permanent groundwater underdrain system for two proposed multi-use buildings with two-story underground parking for the REVE Development in Boulder, Colorado.
The design investigation included performing groundwater sampling for water quality determination, in-situ slug testing to determine hydraulic conductivity, and modeling groundwater movement using MODFLOW to determine groundwater inflow rates. Ayres used the modeling information to design a permanent underdrain system and provide construction-level drawings. System design included system configuration and drain pipe sizing. Ayres offered construction support, including site visits, underdrain plan revisions, and question review.
