David Land, PLA, LEED AP, has joined Ayres’ Colorado staff as a senior project manager, bringing experience as both a consultant and as a client. Land’s landscape architecture clients benefit from that understanding, as well as his genuine passion for consulting.

In his over-20-year career, Land has collaborated with an array of local, national, and international consultants, client teams, and sector experts to guide detailed design and implementation. This includes structural, mechanical, civil, electrical, environmental, health care, sports and recreation, zoological, and water feature consultants.

Land’s affable personality and light-hearted touch magnify his ability to collaborate with experts among our multidisciplinary staff as well as diverse project stakeholders. He especially enjoys working on public spaces where people meet and experience life.

Land has been involved in planning, design, and construction administration for numerous complex site projects spanning civic, residential, retail, educational, brownfield, and sports and recreation spaces.

Some of Land’s specializations include higher education and health care campuses, civic/cultural spaces, exterior sports surfacing, recreation and park spaces, and green roofs.

Land is a licensed professional landscape architect in Colorado and Wyoming and holds a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree from Ball State University. He is a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional. Land is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects, the United States Green Building Council, Green Roofs for Healthy Cities, Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado, and Habitat for Humanity.

Land is based in the Denver metropolitan area and works closely with staff in our Cheyenne, WY, and Fort Collins, CO, offices.
