Chris Silewski, PLA, has been promoted to landscape architecture supervisor within Ayres’ Development Services Division. Silewski supervises Ayres’ Wisconsin-based landscape architecture group, delivering projects in the Midwest, West, and Southeast and providing leadership and collaboration for our team of economic development specialists, landscape architects, and urban planners while finding unique funding opportunities to make projects happen. He is based in Eau Claire.

Silewski brings creative and thoughtful landscape architecture input into the design process from conception to construction. Over the past 10+ years, he has focused on creating dynamic, place-specific designs that incorporate a sense of wonder. His innate interests in community outreach, local typology, art, ecology, and regional design make him a valuable resource to any project aimed at engaging the public in creating a place-specific destination.

This creative approach is balanced by his priority of analyzing existing conditions and discovering how a site’s assets can accentuate and dovetail with the project’s goals.

“Clients know that Ayres’ landscape architecture services look at every opportunity to make sure a project adds up to more than just the sum of its parts, and Chris’ leadership has a lot to do with that,” says Scott Wilson, PSS, vice president.

Silewski holds a bachelor of landscape architecture degree and a bachelor’s degree in environmental design from North Dakota State University. He is a licensed professional landscape architect in Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Florida.
