Beloit Memorial High School is the most visited destination in the City, hosting thousands of visitors every year. In its current condition, the campus lacks space to host large sporting events and tournaments, is burdened with several safety issues, and did not represent the pride the community has in its flagship institution.
The Ayres design team participated in several meetings to collect feedback from the community. The team then prepared a Campus Master Plan to be implemented in five phases over a 12-year period. Proposed changes to the site will result in increased sporting play fields, decentralized parking, realigned internal circulation routes, access, arrival and departure, and outdoor student spaces.
To aid in public outreach efforts, Ayres developed a series of 3D visualizations to communicate the vision.
