Ravi Soneja has joined the aerial mapping team at Ayres, offering our clients a unique background in unmanned aerial systems (UAS), or drones, especially in using drone-based lidar technology for engineering and electric transmission applications.

As a geospatial services technician, Ravi will work to build on our aerial mapping team’s expertise in geospatial technology and expand our capacity nationwide. This includes specialization in applications such as vegetation management, pole hardening, and transportation and infrastructure survey.

Ravi lives and works in the Raleigh, North Carolina, area. He graduated from North Carolina State University with a bachelor’s degree in sustainable materials and technology.
