Basden Named Electrical Discipline Leader for MEP in Upper Midwest

Anthony Basden Staff PortraitAnthony Basden, PE, LEED AP BD+C, RCDD, has been named electrical discipline leader in our Upper Midwest MEP operations. In his new role, Basden supervises the work of our Minnesota electrical engineering staff.

Basden has more than 15 years of experience as an electrical project manager/designer on projects completed for military, retail, commercial, industrial, and institutional clients. He is responsible for the design of electrical power systems, lighting, fire protection systems, and audio/visual and data systems.

Serving clients across many business sectors, Basden has proved his technical mastery in the electrical engineering field and is eager to pass that culture of excellence on to those he oversees.

“Anthony prides himself on providing clients precisely the systems that will best serve their needs while packing maximum efficiency into facilities to save stakeholders money and to provide good stewardship of resources over the life cycle of a building,” says Ed Studniski, senior project manager. “Anthony will carry on our tradition of leading our engineers to provide the right solution for our clients.”

Basden holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Minnesota-Minneapolis. He is a registered communications distribution designer (RCDD) and a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design accredited professional in building design and construction. He is a registered professional engineer in Minnesota, Wisconsin, South Dakota, North Dakota, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Washington, and Oregon.
