Senior Transportation Engineer Joins Florida Staff

Portrait photo of Michael NoesenMichael Noesen, PE, brings his well over three decades of management and design experience to our transportation clients in the Southeast. Mike, who joins Ayres’ staff in Tampa as a senior transportation engineer, has extensive experience in urban and rural roadway projects as well as lighting, signalization, and ITS. He’s been in Tampa for the past 31 years working on projects for the Florida Department of Transportation, cities, counties, and private clients.

Mike manages design and construction projects and provides transportation engineering support. His responsibilities include project management; quality control; roadway, signal, lighting, ITS, and transit design; PD&E studies; and value engineering.

“We’re thrilled that our clients will benefit from Mike’s Florida experience,” says Subrata Bandy, PE, vice president. “Mike has spent most of his career right here in Tampa, and we’re putting his insight to work immediately on city, county, and FDOT projects in the region and around the state.”

Mike holds professional engineer licensure in Florida and Illinois. He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Notre Dame. He is a member of the American Society of Highway Engineers, the Florida Engineering Society, and the Tampa Bay Institute of Transportation Engineers.
