Jim has been with Ayres since 1973. As a project engineer and project manager, Jim's responsibilities have included planning, managing, designing, and inspecting water resource projects.

Jim is a certified instructor for the Federal Highway Administration's National Highway Institute (NHI) and teaches NHI courses, including "Urban Drainage Design," "Culvert Design," and "Introduction to Highway Hydraulics." He received an Instructor of Excellence award from NHI in 2012.
