When Neil joined Ayres Associates in 2011, he already had 10 years of experience in project management, engineering design, and field work on civil and environmental projects for federal, state, municipal, and industrial clients.
Neil has experience in contaminated soil and groundwater site remediation; combined sewer overflow structures, detention tanks, and sewer systems design; landfill and wastewater treatment plant design; stormwater detention and sedimentation structure design; installation of landfill gas-leachate wells; groundwater, soil, and air sampling; and preparation of energy conservation policy/planning documents.
His current waste management project experience includes landfill facility design, leachate collection system design, special waste acceptance, composite liner and cap design, operational considerations, landfill closures, landfill gas extraction, soils analysis, and regulatory permitting.
