This position is open to a student
with junior or senior standing working toward a major in graphic design. This position offers the successful candidate the
opportunity to enhance skills, build a network and resume, and add
to a portfolio while working in the marketing department at a
nationwide company.
The qualified
candidate must have knowledge of graphic design principles for
printed materials and electronic media as well as strong
capabilities in the creation of renderings and design images.
Software proficiency is expected in the following software
programs:

Microsoft
Office

InDesign

Photoshop
·
Adobe
Production Studio, AutoDesk
3ds Max Design, or comparable
·
Illustrator
·
Premiere
Pro or comparable
·
Dreamweaver
·
Flash
Experience working in a team setting
and in basic html or programming, web design, and social media not
required, but a major plus. Video production capabilities
preferred. The successful candidate is detail oriented, has the
ability to multi-task, and has excellent communication skills.
This position
is expected to entail 15 to 20 hours per week (depending on
workload and the intern’s availability) beginning June 1 (or
earlier if possible) and continuing through August 31 or as
workload continues. Work hours will be somewhat flexible but will
be between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
