The ideal candidate will have a two–year associate degree in Land Surveying or Civil Engineering Technology or a four-year degree in Land Surveying and 0 – 3 years of experience.  Previous survey and drafting experience a plus.  Valid driver’s license with good driving record required.   Position may be filled in Madison or Green Bay, WI

Provides assistance to Survey Crew Chief by applying sound technical skills and knowledge of surveying in broad areas of assignment.  Cares for and maintains survey equipment on a regular basis.  Progression of skill sets will lead to assignment of projects as a Crew Chief working more independently on one and two person survey crews utilizing GPS and robotic total stations.  Office responsibilities include processing field data, minor drafting and assisting Professional Land Surveyor in preparation of documents.   Is responsible for adhering to OSHA and required safety practices.  Physical requirements include walking over uneven terrain and lifting up to 50 lbs.  Position will require overtime and out-of-town travel.
