Civil Engineering Summer Intern - Temporary

Ideal candidate will be pursuing a degree in civil engineering.  Previous experience working on roadway construction sites preferable.  Candidates must have a reliable means of transportation to travel to the office and project sites.  A valid driver’s license, good driving record and personal vehicle insurance meeting company policy is required.  This position may require overtime and out-of-town travel (generally within 50 miles of designated office) and is expected to last from late May through August 2010.


This individual will work under the direct supervision of engineering staff and will be assigned to a construction project.  Duties may include assisting with construction inspection on asphalt or concrete pavement, curb and gutter, etc.; construction staking such as subgrade and base course; and other duties.
