Civil Engineering Co-op Student - Temporary

Ideal candidate will have junior or senior status and be pursuing a degree in civil engineering.  Previous experience working on roadway construction sites preferable.  Candidates must have a reliable means of transportation to travel to the office and project sites.  A valid driver’s license, good driving record and personal vehicle insurance meeting company policy is required.  This position may require overtime and out-of-town travel (generally within 50 miles of designated office).  Position will be summer/fall 2010.   


This individual will work under the direct supervision of engineering staff and will be assigned to a construction project.  Duties may include assisting with construction inspection on asphalt or concrete pavement, curb and gutter, etc.; construction staking such as subgrade and base course and other duties.
