Position requires enrollment in a Civil Engineering degree program with course work in transportation or construction.  Co-op positions require at least junior standing.  Previous construction and/or design experience beneficial.  Candidates must have a reliable means of transportation to travel to the office and project sites.  A valid driver’s license and personal vehicle insurance meeting company policy is required.


This individual will work under the direct supervision of transportation engineering staff and will be assigned to a construction project.  Projects are typically located in Madison.  Duties may include assisting with construction inspection on asphalt or concrete pavement, curb and gutter, etc., construction staking such as subgrade and base course, and other duties.
