Successful candidate will be the
Professional Engineer in responsible charge of design criteria for
structural projects and will perform project management duties,
including client contact, scheduling, and billing.
Responsibilities will include:
• development and design of
bridges and other highway structural plans;
•
establishing technical specifications and approval of materials
and construction;
•
conducting bridge load rating analysis and rehabilitation design;
and
•
design and analysis of hydraulic structures.
Duties also
include preparation of cost estimates and technical reports
required by project scope, design and construction plans
conforming to applicable codes, as well as supervising and
overseeing the work of staff engineers, drafters, technicians, and
secretaries during preliminary and final plan preparation.
Candidate designs routine projects without supervision, seeks
technical guidance on complex projects, and assures adherence to
office policy regarding checking and back-checking procedures for
computations and plans. |
