Structural Inspection Documents Coordinator #1744

Qualifications:

Qualified candidates will have a technical writing background and excellent word processing skills. Proficiency in MSWord, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.  Experience preparing structural inspection reports is a plus. Excellent proofreading and organizational skills are required as well as the ability to produce high quality documents for projects with tight deadlines. Ability to organize and maintain files and input inspection information into databases is essential.

 

Responsibilities:

Produces inspection reports, forms, letters, and other project-related documents for the Structural Inspection group.  Inspection report production includes working knowledge of the AASHTOWare/BrM/BMS currently used by FDOT (formerly Pontis database) and corresponding addendums/appendixes. Processes work orders and updates the work order database for Ayres Associates and our clients.  Reviews work submitted for typing for spelling and unclear statements.  Proofreads typed work for conformance to original copy.  Assures documents are typed in conformance with company policy, style, and format.  Archives files, and maintains file directory database for the Structural Inspection group. Prepares groups of reports for submittals.
