Administrative Assistant #1720

Qualifications required:
  • The ideal candidate should have a two-year degree or equivalent
  • A minimum of five years of administrative assistant/word processing experience required
  • A Wisconsin Notary Public or ability to become one is desired
  • Dependability, organization, flexibility and the ability to multi-task required
  • Successful candidate must possess excellent typing, spelling, grammar, mathematical, organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and the internet required
  • Experience with Adobe Suite and Microsoft Publisher beneficial
  • General financial/accounting and telephone experience a plus
  • Experience with Deltek or similar business software a plus¬†


  • Operates a computer to produce reports, specifications, graphs, spreadsheets, contracts, proposals, forms, letters, legal descriptions, and other project related documents
  • Greets visitors, answers switchboard, and takes messages as necessary
  • Assures documents are typed in conformance with company policy, style, and format
  • Edits and proofreads written materials, reports, contracts, proposals, and letters
  • Works closely with office staff to support them on project, client and general office needs
  • Orders supplies, manages office mailing and shipping
  • Assists with special office events such as charitable events and setting up the awards banquet
  • Assists the accounting department with various tasks, including record keeping and database updates
  • Files, makes copies, assists in preparing and collating reports, and miscellaneous duties as assigned
